Obchodné centrum Emiráty

   Dubajské obchodné centrum Emiráty oslavuje v tejto krásne ilustrovanej publikácii svoje desiate narodeniny. Ide o prvé nákupné centrum s rozlohou viac než 71 tisíc metrov štvorcových, no vraví sa, že „nakupovanie v ňom je len začiatok“. Tento kolosálny priestor, ktorý vlastní spoločnosť Majid Al Futtaim Properties, navrhla architektonická firma F+A Architects. Jeho súčasťou je viac ako 700 predajní a 560 medzinárodných značiek vrátane Fashion Dome, ktorý zastrešuje početné luxusné butiky a vnáša štýl slávnej Avenue Montaigne priamo do srdca Dubaja.

   V obchodnom dome sa nachádza 90 reštaurácií a bistier, ktoré ponúkajú jedlá z celého sveta od libanonskej kuchyne v Burj Al Hamam, cez francúzsku v reštaurácii Angelina Paris, indickú v luxusnej reštaurácii Asha alebo americko-čínsku fúziu v P. F. Chang. Hostia, ktorí sem prišli za zábavou, majú k dispozícii skutočne široký výber vrátane multikina so štrnástimi premietacími sálami, zábavného rodinného centra Magic Planet s bowlingovou dráhou, kolotočmi, autíčkami, videohrami a zábavnými dráhami RoboCoaster, ale aj prvého krytého lyžiarskeho strediska na Blízkom východe s názvom Ski Dubai. Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates celebrates a successful first decade with this beautifully illustrated volume. It may be the world’s first shopping resort, over 769,000 square feet and counting, but “Shopping is just the beginning.” This colossal space, designed by F+A Architects and owned by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, boasts over 700 stores and 560 international brands, including a Fashion Dome to house the numerous luxury boutiques that bring the style of the famous Avenue Montaigne to the heart of Dubai. The Mall is home to 90 restaurants and eateries serving cuisine from all over the world, ranging among Burj Al Hamam’s Lebanese fare, the fine French Angelina Paris, Indian fine dining at Asha’s, and the American Chinese flavors of P. F. Chang’s. Guests looking for entertainment have ample choices, including a 14-screen multiplex cinema; a 500-seat theater and arts center; Magic Planet family entertainment area, with its bowling alley, carousel, bumper cars, arcade, and the RoboCoaster; and the scenic Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East. The spacious atrium at Mall of the Emirates is a frequent host of exclusive fashion events, such as the annual World of Fashion runway show.
